Comment:
...this tape, which is almost Star Redux. Some of the same stuff as the first tape, but some revisions. So which one would I give him? They both have strengths and flaws, so I decided both. Rick once bought the U.K. Version of The Clash's eponymous album, then found out that the U.S. (on CD, at least) was the better buy. So I consider Star [U.S.] a little better, but both are fundamentally the same. Sorry for the Behind the Music notes, but I needed to explain.Feedback:
the US version has more flow. . . i'm feelin' it.
I would make a third version with "Black Angel's Death Song" and "Dance Song '97" in place of "Waiting for the Man" and "Words and Guitar." But, keep the same order of artists; S-K, then VU. (--DJ Palindrome in disguise)
Yeah, I'm the guy. I have these tapes, and was actually listening to them yesterday. I like US more. So... whatever.
