hey, i've heard of at least two-thirds of those bands. i even saw a pilfers show once. thank god i'm not most people! anyway, looks like some good stuff, i'll have to check out the other one-third!

I'm sure lots of people know of these bands. Oh yeah, and The Rocking Horse Winner is just amazing.

I created this cd - the point of this cd is to get people who dont listen to punk/ska/emo/indie (ie most people) to do so. i realize that many people who would frequent this website have a wider taste in music than most people.

additionally, the rockinghorse winner is a local band for me (SoFla!!), as is Dashboard Confessional, which everyone seems to know somehow. Further Seems Forever (on the mix) is his previous band, i've seen them play at least 3 times, good stuff. also check out Vacan Andys, an even older Chris Carrabba band.

and sad news about the pilfers - theyve broken up recently! and i was looking forward to seeing them play a bunch of times this semester (they play ithaca A LOT).
