I didn't want to do a mix about the attacks on New York and Washington. I thought about it that week, listening to the Ben Folds and They Might Be Giants tracks used here, but ultimately decided I probably couldn't do anything I'd be happy with. Then I heard the new Superchunk record and the line, "Plane crash footage on TV/I know that could be me". I couldn't not do one after that, so here it is. The Corporate Avenger track is mixed together with the unbelievably hateful comments made recently by Jerry Falwell on The 700 Club, which I felt were important enough to bear inclusion.

i'm really impressed with this mix. theres some songs i'm definitely going to have to check out, but wow... consider me speechless. (and i totally dig the cover as well!)

Very compelling. I don't agree with the statement made by the title of the Corporate Avenger track, but an indictment of organized religion on this mix couldn't be more appropriate.
