Comment:

Side A: Look me in the eyes and/ Side B: tell me that I'm satisfied/ From 12/11/90. Actually, if you consider what's on the spine of the tape to be the name then it's: "Warning: The Surgeon General has determined that listening to this tape has been known to cause addiction in laboratory animals" But that seemed a bit long for me for a tape title. The subhead was "The Unsatisfied Recordings" anyway, so that works. Other miscellaneous writings on the tape case: "Shut up.", "Say hi to max", "Position Normal - Not", "UR in the '90s", and "Listen!" And on the inside, I wrote "Please keep this and all cassette tapes containing similarly addictive music out of the reach of children, because we wouldn't want the little shits growing up smarter than us and questioning authority. So let's do our part to keep our future leaders as stupid as the ones we have now. Thank you. This has (naturally) been a Sam the Butcher production. Fuck off." Reeeeeal friendly. ;) I think it was the Consolidated and Big Black talking. ;)

Hey Sam, it looks like you and I were making the same kinds of mixes at the same point in time on the calendar (everything from the early 90s looks like my work) except yours keep better :)

That's totally funny! I went to look at your mixes and found "an untitled tape..." and was *cracking up* at your song choices because they were spot on what I would've put on! Especially Urge Overkill, Dead Milkmen & Nirvana. However, I never bought into the Whale song...! ;)
