Comment:

this is a tape for mel that i made in place of "all you need is a pretty song." because i deemed that tape too strange for someone who is just being indoctrinated into the indie scene. this tape is easier to swallow, with the rougher moments buffered by pop goodies. the title reflects the revision as both tapes get their titles from the beulah track. i think there is an apocryphal story about allen ginsburg saying he never revised his poetry. that is the biggest load of horseshit i have ever heard. revision is necessary and helps to make things work well. i like this tape, even though making it wasn't much of a stretch for me. Also, in closing, everyone should pick up the new 14 iced bears singles comp on slumberland and if the new trembling blue stars single is indicative of the new LP out on Oct. 23rd then we TBS fans will be very pleased.
