Comment:

I felt the need to compile some beats. Title jacked from Phife Dawg's rap on "phony rappers".

Money please, this is really good! We need more hip hop that doesn't suck on here. Keep up the good work.

I concur, but it seems to me that back in '98-'99 thoughtful, innovative hip-hop was ready to explode, and then the bling-bling just took over bigger than ever. I blame Eminem personally. And all the rest of the underground sellouts. And all the underground/indie acts who only rap about "lyrically wettin' mcs" while havin horrible drum machine beats and minimalist production. The only hip-hop album I've loved in the past year has been Atmosphere's Lucy Ford EPs.

this is excellent. some blackalicious would make it even more delightful, though. :D

"intelligent hip-hop" is one that keeps moving, able to explore other genres, like drum'n'bass, breakbeat, and avant-rock. . . very good mix. keep it up!!
