Comment:

First mix in a while. High-jacked by higher education. Aiming for a certain whistful, Fall feeling (the season, not the band). Not necessarily successful. Also trying to get a few old chestnuts on here, hence some repetition repetition with other mixes. Doesn't matter, it's all one song anyway. Side 1 is a bit of a mess, didn't know quite what I was doing (uh, smoking) so it meanders all hither and thither a bit. Side 2 settles down into a little bit of a mini suite (which ends with a mini-suite, how po-mo), that is pretty unrelated to side 1 actually. Meta.

Really strong, kick-ass stuff, as always. Huge props to your Fred Neil pick (see my mix "Would you actually wear lipstick", if you wish), Rocket from the Tombs (YES!) pick, Faces, Donovan, Spirit, Wyatt, Mats picks... hell, the whole thing is pretty dandy.

For a really wistful Fall song, check out "Autumn is Your Last Chance" by Robyn Hitchcock on "I Often Dream of Trains". Nice choices, good mix.
