Comment:
there you go gwen. a shitload of bands that sound vaguely the same, yet any number of people would call them totally different. from hardcore to straight edge to pop punk to old school. such is the nature of punk, as most punks are assholes. go ahead punk rockers, tell gwen what i left out, and bare in mind, gwen, that i don't nessecarily endorse all, or even most, of these bands.Feedback:
Hey - thanks man. You rock. That's weird - Earth Crisis is my friend/former co-worker Jim's favorite band. They are semi-local around where I live. Small world.
oh conor...a true punk rocker at heart
pretty good variety. charles bronson, however, should never appear on any mix... EVER. =)
SUM41 IS NOT PUNK!! They are unoriginal pop crap. You could have at least included one of the bands they've ripped off, like Green Day or Offspring. Otherwise, nice inclusion of Buzzcocks and Face to Face.
Sorry i didn't stress enough how good the rest of the mix was... and by looking at your other mixes, you seem to have a pretty wide variety of tastes and music knowledge. And some other ppl were arguing over what punk is, and i love to get into music arguments, even if i'm dead wrong. That's why its so fun... no one's really ever right. Plus, the rant against Sum41 could be that I have an annoying as fuck roommate who watches TRL all the time and their video is always on and he always sings it.
pure brilliance to end with that charles bronson track. yes yes yes. the tsol song on the mix is also worth a star, as is the move to put bad brains and tsunami bomb right next to each other...
very few of these are punk rock. judos on the misfits/charles bronson/dk/buzzcocks
judos is supposed to be kudos
this is half complete shit and half decent
cool shyt man. and it dont matter if sum41 is punk or not because they are still an awesum band.
great mix. i saw the bulemics not too long ago. the lead singer is skinny as shit, kinda anorexic looking. fast, brutal show. nice guys, too.
