Comment:

this is digital (10). i got a lot of positive commentary from my first digital mix, so i immediately embarked on another. i think this one is better than the first, but i guess that is up for debate. some selection ideas stolen straight from rob conroy and sweet avenue, and major thanks to the wonderful laura watling, who made me a cd of the softies 7" stuff i didn't have AND her new CD. she rules (for those who care, Laura was the lead singer of Autocollants, who also rule.)

Very sweet. You need to dig into this part of your collection more often, perhaps in conjunction with the more traditionally "twee" stuff... balance is key, my friend. :-)

what is this "balance" thing you speak of? ;)

*dons (somewhat damaged, definitely wilted) guru hat* "Balance", dear Fundak, occurs when one mixes up vintage classic sounds and combines them with one's current favorites for an ever-so-eclectic mix of the old and new... *blah blah* *drones on into infinity*

i defer to your obvious wisdom Rob, but if you start referring to me a "grasshopper" i WILL be forced to destroy you.

Very, very cool. Yes, *balance* is most certainly the key! And this has it.
