Comment:
unfortunately, during my most impressionable years [i.e. middle school], the town i lived in had two choices of music to listen to on the radio: mariah carey or garth brooks. so i grew up listening to that crap and my parent's 80's rock [rush, van halen, g'n'r, etc.], until the glorious advent of cable in our household. i saw the music video for buddy holly on mtv, and was introduced to a whole new world of music. this is a cd of a lot of the really influential songs that led me to my musical tastes today.Feedback:
give or take a few songs, i totally agree. weezer's orignal self-titled was the first CD i ever bought, thanks to "buddy holly," a song i never really listened to after hearing the true glory of the rest of the CD.
