This mix just screams out Brandt Fundak (Heavenly, Lucksmiths, Trembling Blues Stars, Mates of State). If I'm wrong, you can send me the cassette and I'll eat it Charlie Chaplin-style. As for your "pupil," it's either someone who has a near identical good taste in music or the oldest-living imaginary friend. I know if I tried this with my girlfriend, every other song would be either Pearl Jam or Guns 'N' Roses. Ouch.
