Comment:

This mix was made as a swap for a certain AOTM member, hence the anagram title. Had a couple "guidepost" to work with to string a mix around. Notes of interest: The Cramps song is a direct rip-off musically of Bill Allen's fifties Raunch-a-billy number. Sideman of virtually everyone, Chris Spedding does his salute to fret masters of the ages from Albert Collins on. Andy Mackay recruits his egghead buddy Eno to help twist Wagner. Arthur Lee performs his last gasp of greatness best known to many as a song Mazzy Star has performed. Jack Nitzsche cut comes from his St. Giles Cripplegate album, if you like the latest Mercury Rev record try to find yourself a copy of this record. Weird Paul is a Pittsburg based guy from circa 1991 who put out a demented record on the Homestead label. Am I the only whack (aside from label head Gerard Cosley) who found this record genius-like in that "Kinda Sorta Normal"(see lo-fi jr. mix) way?

Yes, Mr. Casetta. Yes. Please add this to my pile. And I promise to e-mail you in detail tomorrow... it was a long day, at work and otherwise, and I'm exhausted. I always appreciate your support, though, Tom.

Cool mix, once again, Tom. Robby is a lucky boy to get this! The description of the Arthur Lee song makes me want to seek out the album. As well as the Jack Nitzsche one.

Yeah, pretty fine looking mix. I'm still sad about Sonny Sharrock's death.

A brilliant mix as usual. Where did your cover image come from? It looks like a warped version of a public art display of cows I saw in Chicago a few years ago.

It is one of those public art cows. This was from the display in NYC about a year ago I believe.

I'm really sad I lost this when I moved! There's a few tracks that I've tried in vain to find!
