too much of the Strokes is fuckin' up everything i listen to these days. i only want to hear jangling guitars or raw chords, nothing that is complex or heavy can satisfy me. what is happening? will my love for metal die? will i never listen to Yes again? will This Is It replace Stankonia as the hipster party album? are others out there facing this same uncertain future?

the only thing on here i'm not sure about is verbena. never could get into that band. but the fact that i can pick out ONE fucking song i don't like here among a couple dozen greats equals that this is a wonderful mix.

i, too am unbashedly in love with The Strokes. Is This It has played in my house or car at least 30+ times since i bought it. maybe a support group is the answer.

i don't dig the strokes, but it's cool that you have them on a mix with some of the stuff they were influenced by.
