i think i've only truly been in love once in my life and it was with this girl mary that i spent the most amazing summer of my life with. anyway, i was a dumbass and broke up with her over something that had bothered me about a previous relationship and then spent 4 years trying to get her back or get over it. i've finally gotten over it, but i found this tape a few nights ago, and i thought i'd post it. Basically, i'm pretty sure i made this in 1998, when i was living in bowling green and she was in columbus and i had convinced myself that I could win her back. but of course i was wrong. it's amazing...i have moved on, and yet the feeling is still really palpable. oh, and don't bother asking what i was thinking including the raspberries and left banke tracks---i realize they don't fit, but i probably was just puttering out on the end of this thing the way i so often do...
