So I put this "mix" together a couple of months ago when I decided to sell off an import double-disc Animals anthology that I had; I decided to post it today in response to a remark by Gary Woods (not out of spite, as I like Gary quite a bit, but just to make my case for Eric & company as a pretty fine singles band) on my newest Mixed Genre entry. True, it doesn't even fill 74, let alone 80, minutes, but I think that approximately 75% of these are great songs, and the rest all hold their own. I only wish that I had Eric & War's "Spill the Wine" on disc so that I could cheat by including it (alas, I've only got the old 45).
