Comment:

made for my friend sarah, the first one in our group to get her license and a car. now we get to do the whole "chucking laps" thing, and going thru the drive thru at McDonalds and buying cookies (because half are vegetarians, and because i put my foot down at McDonalds for using brazilian beef rather than aussie, the rest are too scared to indulge) just for the hell of it. this summer should be amusing and this tape was designed for the purpose of load, driving music for giggly backseat sing-a-longs.

Huh. Pretty impressive. I wish *my* high school friends had been more receptive to music like this at the time... instead, our idea of "cruising" music was Anthrax's "Among the Living", the Cult's "Electric", Suicidal Tendencies' "Join the Army" and Agent Orange's "Living in Darkness" (none of which are bad, but the point is that variety was not the spice of their lives). Actually, now that I think about it, the Minutemen's "Double Nickels on the Dime", the Replacements' "Pleased to Meet Me" and Fishbone's "Truth and Soul" did get some airtime senior year...

Very cool. Yes, you are lucky that your friends dig the same kind of music as you (& not the regular top 40 shite).

Excellent mix. I'm partial to Side II, but Side I isn't anything to be ashamed about. It's always nice seeing a Simpsons nod in mixes.
