Comment:

Part two of my homage to British cities that are close to my heart and the great music they've given the world. Anyways, this is Glasgow, the city where I'm originally from. I suppose Glasgow is especially good in producing more culty, underground indie bands, but I think I've managed to filter out those without any real substance. Again, I've thrown in some newies with the well-known and not-so well-known classics. And for anyone about to correct me, I know the Close Lobsters (they really deserve more recognition!) are from Paisley and Aztec Camera are from East Kilbride, but hey....what's ten miles?

thanks a lot. glasgow really is ace. orange juice- yeah, i've got some of their stuff, but i personally think that everything great they've done is on the 1992 compilation 'The Very Best of Orange Juice (The Esteemed Orange Juice)'. yeah, i'm more than willing to trade.

Another great one that goes way beyond the obvious & expected. Why isn't there a collection of postcard records ("the sound of young Scotland") singles on CD?

Great stuff! Glasgow is one of my fave cities, though I only visited once - and not one damned band was playing! Let me know if you'd like to trade for this.
