this is digital (10001). my intention is to give this tape to bob wratten. but how do you give a tape to the man that IS field mice/northern picture library/trembling blue stars? basically i approached this tape the same way i approached making tapes for CASETTA--don't even bother trying to turn them on to something new--just try to make a quality tape. i think i've accomplished that here, but i might still wuss out and not give it to him...[an addendum: it turns out that the title of the first trembling blue stars LP is borrowed directly from the go-betweens song that is on this tape. it was totally unintentional and i am either a mad genius or a complete idiot. i'm inclined to think the latter...]ps. the picture is of bob and beth from TBS at their show in Cleveland, OH Nov. 9 2001
