Last night I was browsing through Rob Conroy's seemingly endless stream of single artist mixes, and decided that I should do a few for some of my favorite artists. The first of the series goes to the criminally underlooked Canadian band "Blinker The Star". Sometimes the harmonies soar, sometimes it's distorted and lo-fi, while other times they use the slickest production this side of Steely Dan. Certainly worth dipping into.Feedback:
j-bird and nectarina are my faves, but then again i'm not too fond of much of their stuff after the first release. check out 'champion sprout' if ya can find anything by them.
