hey! lots of this stuff.. or all.. maybe all.. is from the cmj cds! awesome - i'd mark my favourites and then make a mix tape when i had enough. you've picked out all my favourites as well. :) awesome. notice how they're just not that great anymore? ..or is it just me. maybe it's me.

Yep the ol' CMJ CDs. CMJ introduced me to a lot of these artists. I use to "donate" plasma like a junkie so I could score a fix for my CD addiction. Thank god for the college town with a used CD store and indie record place. So you see, I actually have most of the CDs that these come from. Around 700+ CDs and counting.

Ditto on the CMJ ruminations. I think around '96-'97 they started getting away from the indie-alternative vibe and... well... it just wasn't the same anymore.
