one of my favourites during highschool and beyond, sonic youth were an innovative and explosive band that could just as easily make the most dangerous song as the sexiest. i kinda stopped listening after 'experimental', don't know if that's a mistake or not...Feedback:
Excellent! Great choices! I kinda stopped around the same time as well although I've been meaning to get Washing Machine for awhile now...ever since I heard an edited version of "The Diamond Sea" on the radio a few years back....
ya, that's a great tune. there were some other goodies on 'washing machine' but when push came to shove i needed the credit at the record store more.
sonic youth post-experimental is hit and miss (with ejst&ns being a miss), but washing machine and the first three syr's are mostly hit.
