2nd CD for the same girl at work, first one was 'Where's My Tutu'. I ended both with different versions of Hallelujah, next one I make for her will have to have the Cohen version.
John Martyn is a new discovery for me, a couple of lines in the song really struck me with the state of the world...'I'm waiting for the planes to tumble, waiting for the towns to fall, I'm waiting for the cities to crumble'. Just a really great song. She really really liked the last CD, so I hope she likes this one as much. And no, in case anyone was wondering, although there are some crush type songs on there it's not a crush mix...she has a common-law hubbie...we have one of those friendly harmless flirting kinda things, so I can get away with a couple of songs.
