It's exactly what the title says it is. My friend Michelle was interested in finding out more about this band. The live tracks were taken from an album that they put out in 1972 which was an entire set at Max's Kansas City in New York.

It certainly isn't for the weak of heart (as is Heroin), but I have to include them to do the Velvets any justice. :)

Praise for including "Sister Ray". But if you think the studio version isn't for the faint-hearted, you ought to hear the 38-minute live version on the new box set...
