Comment:
This idea just popped into my head and I began searching for songs. Each of these songs has the name of a woman who has affected my life in some way. Some more than others. Some wouldn't even know it. I've put them in chronological order by when they came into my life. Obviously the first and most influential comes first. Thanks for my life, mom. The first eight are relatives. The last twelve range from my first crush to my best friends and a couple of people I've never actually met in person! I know I'm missing some people. And there are two Pegs, both extremely important, but I didn't want two songs messing things up. I can't wait to actually get this mix recorded!Feedback:
now that's a beautiful idea. John Lennon is clapping loudly somewhere. metaphysically, I assume.
Cool idea. Great songs too. I'm a big Ryan Adams fan, and that's a great song to put in the mix. Good choices with the Tori songs as well.
sweet idea...so sweet you got carried away on the Allman Brothers title...it's simply Melissa.
Thanks Geoff - I made a couple of corrections - and additions - a couple I forgot.
if this was my mix, i'd start it off with "i'd like to thank everyone i have ever slept with" by momus, but i think that would drain off the obvious good feeling behind this mix...it's always interesting to visit your past...
this is so sweet! I don't know most of these songs but I like the idea a lot.
