mix made for a recent ex who was very specific about what albums she missed having access to (hence the repetition) and what songs she missed hearing (hence some of the choices). we're in the process of building a tenuous friendship out of the very dramatic breakup we had a while ago, so i tried to be as accomodating to her requests as i could, which felt a bit constraining. but the flow isn't too bad and i managed to sneak in some tracks that seemed appropriate (like the bts and yo la tengo songs). heavy on the nostaligia, this one. title is from ancient inside jokes.
