Comment:
No apologies here! A bit thrown together; a collection of songs from various friends' CDs. Some are classics, some are just nostalgia pieces that figure into my youth somehow (ie. Streisand, though it is a duet with Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees and has that sexy Bee Gees quality to it). All numbers are very karaoke friendly (that's what 80's tunes were made for) and 'volume 2' is currently in the works with entries from Roxy Music & Joe Jackson so far. Stay tuned...Feedback:
The only two good bands to come out of the 80's were Jesus Jones and Howard Jones. Good to see one of them represented here.
Great mix which brings back a lot of memories (although, who knew that Howard Jones had more than one song???)...if I made a mix which compiled the songs I actually listened to while playing 2600 games, it would have a lot of the "Miami Vice" soundtrack (awesome for "Chopper Command") and Van Halen on it.
