Comment:
This is almost certainly the most dance-your-ass-off-able mix of the comp so far- if not in quality, then sheer quantity. Almost everything on here's either got some sort of thick bassline or an uptempo funky-ass groove. I mean, look! "Humpty Dance"! 'Nuff said! You could get a big-ass party started with this mix assuming your guests don't mind a little napalm-hot Babes In Toyland in the midst of their thunka-thunka booty-bumpin'.UPDATE, 12-18-02: Yes, Babes in Toyland are gone - they completely monkeywrenched the flow of the album. But you get Joey Beltram to make up for it - right? Right?
Feedback:
"Mr. Know It All" has got to be (in my opinion, of course) the greatest Primus song ever. And Saint Etienne's "Only Love..." is a brilliant cover. Great mix (as usual)! :)
ah...Living Colour. i thought they were supposed to change the world or something. This album screams 1990 to me. if there were room for one song more, i'd suggest something off the "Social Distortion" Epic debut. but you're the man with the series, and the series does rock mightily.
Great stuff.
