Comment:

This is a series I started a year ago. Being a student of Spanish and a huge fan of music, I decided I would make these CDs every couple of months and distribute them to my fellow Spanish speakers. The series is a continued success. Any type of music you may want to hear is one here: rap, hard rock, alternative, indie, classic rock, techno, pop, and traditional stylings. Title come from Low Rider, of course. E-mail me for a trade.

Nice mixes...but aren't Os Mutantes Brazilian, and don't they speak Portugese?

Os Mutantes are Brazilian and there are a few tracks on here that are in Portugese but the Os Mutantes song on here is in Spanish.
And thanks for the info, Brandt.

This is a great series. I must admit I am aware of only a fraction of what is on here. The idea of exposing latin-spanish music of all genres is cool. Now where is Perez Prado?

This series leans heavily on current music. The traditional music that is incuded on these discs are all recent songs. But I have had an inkling to do a traditional Spanish music disc or two and Perez and his orchestra would definitely be included, considering he is the "king of the mambo."
