And thus I come to the biggest moral dilemma of the mix: do I include Dr. Octagon, even though doing so may violate my one-appearance-per-artist rule since Kool Keith was alllll over that Ultramagnetic MCs track in the '88 volume? Answer: YEAH MAN. It may be fudging things but so what? Anyhow, this one's crammed to the gills with things that bump in the night, or the daytime, or whenever you have your subwoofers thrumming. And thrum they will when you've got Squarepusher and Ghostface and the Delta 72. And Prodigy! Remember them?

UPDATE 12-19-02: It seems that I'm deleting a lot of entries from bands mentioned in the actual blurbs. I should just completely rewrite them one of these days.
