after departing their hardcore roots, neurosis focused on creating the sound of the apocalypse. this is 110 minutes of beauty taken from the period of 'souls at zero' to 'times of grace'.

funny story, actually. a couple nights ago one of my best friends found out how unfamliar I was with this band and basically locked me in his room with 'Times of Grace' and 'Through Silver in Blood'. Strangely enough I kind of reccomend the experience. So excellent work, and I'll have to look up the Joy Division cover. damn. (:
