the Ken Burns jazz series has a very decent Mingus compilation...not that this isn't!

This is a fine mix, Daniel. But skip the Burns comp and just go for a few of the albums (as it looks like you already have)... worth your while. :-)

"goodbye pork pie hat" is SO key to this...i'm also partial to "better git it in your soul," but i appreciate "mood indigo" (cuz i'm into ellington too). nice mix :)
