Comment:
If I were a DJ at an oldies station this is the set I would play. This actually starts with a set I heard started last night on a local oldies show. The guy most have been a Afghan Whigs fan, and he was certainly a fan of Memphis.Feedback:
First time I've seen a Johnny Horton tune on a mix. The Wilson Pickett tune is one of my favorites. I'd definitely listen to a station with this play list.
I second Mr. Petruccelli's remarks, Papa. Great mix.
A fantastic mix.
nice.
thanks for reminding me how even oldies radio sucks. this is beautiful.
Jumpin' Jesus on a Pogo Stick! Looks like you put more than 25% Roll on this Rock mix and that is a good thang!! I wish I had this mix a few weeks back when I was drivin' the gravel roads of Swanwick, Ill.
Very nice. I like the use of Son House to lead off side 2!
very...well not suave, kinda like suave but minus the tophat and tails. but very good. yes indeed, very good.
Way cool. Papa, we need to start talking soon about our trade - I've got one more to do, and you're next!
Papa... the first song on this tape is one of my favorites of all time. You simply rule.
yes, this is the stuff.
This is great. You may have just inspired me to make my own rock/abilly/roots/r&b/soul type mix
choice. yes it would be a great radio show, esp if heard in a car at night.
