This mix is the companion to my "Stormy Sunday" mix...each was prompted by a co-worker asking about my musical tastes.

I'm amazed at the number of mixes that I've made that I haven't bothered to keep a copy of! So almost a year and a half later I am remaking this mix. Of course that means tweeking the order a little bit, and adding the Police song to extend the mix from 74 to 80 minutes. Definitely the center-piece of this mix is the Tracy Chapman song...first, it is over 7 minutes long, easily the longest song on the mix. Also, like most of her songs the sound is stripped-down, just her and a guitar. The vocals literally DEMAND that you pay attention to the message.

A couple of good suggestions from this mix would be Buckshot LeFonque (as always), and Hank Williams III...if you ever see that Hank 3 is coming to your town, do yourself a favor and be there!
