Comment:

For Stephanie M. Finally. This started off (and remained, I guess) as a mix compiling my current favorite tracks from my favorite albums of 2001; however, as I was compiling it, I noticed how similarly "mopey" (Steph's word, not mine) a lot of the tunes were and that's what she requested when we set up our trade months ago. So here it is. :-) A lot of these tunes have shown up on mixes of mine thoughout the year, but never in one place before. Title from the amazing T.W. Walsh song.

rob, you may be one of the few people who has the musical knowledge of a CASETTA/lo-fi jr. combined with the contemporary indierock sensiblity of me. how you do it is beyond me (and i thought my head was full of useless trivia!) great mix.

Very cool mix. How Rob can do it (know so much about music, but also have the indie rock cred) is also beyond me. I'm always getting accused of knowing too much about "useless" music trivia by my husband, but yet, I'm sure I don't know half as much as Rob!

As someone who has been in the room with Rob's amazing head full of music on numerous occasions, I must point out that it is even more awe inspiring in person. I'll need to hit you up for this one buddy.
