so it's my friend's birthday and i decided to make him a tape. i'm not actually REAL sure that he likes hiphop, but i think he does. i've never made a hip hop tape before EVER but i realised just how much hiphop i actually have and it was super fun to make a mix tape of it. waaay easier than a power pop tape. ;) a few notes: i love del; the getaway people is someone/s from the roots and they're SUPERB; g. love's electric mile cd is perfect; as is les nubiennes'; i am absolutely in LOVE with ride wit' me; paul barman laughs so so charmingly in this track and the new mobb deep is fantastic, like i knew it would be. i am very pleased and now i am going to sleep.
