Comment:

I decided to "shake" up my brain (actually turn it off) a bit and plunder through the vinyl section of the music vault in the Casetta home. I opted to play the 3rd song on side 2 off of every 33rd album. The albums are mostly arranged strictly alphabetically (with some exceptions and misfiles which were left in place for this "experiment"). No, there is no order to the artist with more than one album in the stacks. (i.e. The Beatles albums are not chronological, just filed all together with no order) The compilation/various artist/soundtracks are in filled in a way only I can explain. Needless to say the mix is sequenced randomly. Will I do this with the CD's, not anytime soon, but won't rule it out. Anyway, here are the results in three tapes.

Great idea and some cool results, my friend. :-) (P.S. How the hell *are* you, good sir? You never write, you never call... *hums "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" to himself*)

Can't say I made any call, it just was the luck of the numbers. Scary thought , it could have been something off my autographed copy of Electric Youth by Debbie Gibson (autographed by Robyn Hitchcock, it's a long story) Thank goodness the numbers gelled to avoid that and a few other items in the collection.

Nice, Tom. That Captain Beyond LP is in my top 5 of "LPs easily found for under $5 in any well-stocked used record store". Cool Southern-fried prog-rock.

You are one wacky dude Mr. Casetta. Interesting concept. How else would you get Heart's "Sing Child" on a mix tape. But then it also produces some classics, like "Sunday Girl" and "In My Room." At least you didn't get stuck with an eleven minute Yes song.
