Comment:

this is digital (101001). a mix for my dear friend leslee wright, who has been the recipient of my mixes before (one of my birthday mixes was also for her.) i tried to have a loose "writing" theme to this mix because she is an English PhD student at Nebraska plus i tried to add things i thought she would dig. and apologies for putting the suede and tv personalities tracks on like every mix that i make but they are so damned good...how could i say no? and does anyone out there have any other tracks by the dovers? i'd love to hear more. oh, and this officially marks the END of the very sinister xmas giveaway for me. a few more mixes and i'll be done for the holiday and then all of you i owe mixes should be getting something from me soon...

Awesome, Brandt. Nice pick leading off with my favorite song of all-time. :-)

that is a very nice mix. re the "overuse" (as some might say) of tv personalities and suede...as my dad says as he opens the same kind of beer he's been opening for 20 years "if you're on a good thing, stick to it"

this mix takes a lot of risks... as long as you're hellof old and search desperatley for importance and legitamacy in the songs of a generation who is neither.

i was just thinking of attempting something like this the other day, but of course you go and beat me to it, and probably do a much better job in the process. i have no idea if conor's comment was supposed to be positive or negative. in any case, success, you wear it well. Conor's a moron, jaime, so it's probably negative...

I must have missed this one. Lovely, as usual. And we don't care if you use the some of the same tracks - cos they're good, so who cares?
