This mix is a response to the selection of the bestselling "1" CD of pre-recorded songs. There are a lot of songs that are great but were never #1, so this mix is a supplement for first-time Beatles listeners.

I like it; I just did a very similar mix on CD a few days ago. We made a few different choices, but I think this is a very well considered mix. I would make two observations (not criticisms, just observations). One is the omission of a few notable tracks, such as I Am The Walrus and Strawberry Fields Forever. The other is the running order: Beatles 1 is more or less chronological, and this one is not. Both are valid choices of course, I'd just be interested to hear the thinking behind them.
