This is the first posting in a new series of mine which should be sub-titled 'the project to purchase a new computer'. I've decided that my need for technology is larger than my need to keep every CD I've ever purchased, so I've made a dent in my collection by culling out a number of CD's and artists which I no longer consider 'essential' to own everything they've ever recorded. The plan is to eliminate upwards of 500 cd's from the collection, solving the cash problem for the computer and also solving my storage issues as well!
