Sucky a year as it was, 2001 was an awesome year for music. Tori Amos, Kristin Hersh, Duncan Sheik and Laurie Anderson all released new albums which I'd consider contenders for their best album ever. These are all from my favorite releases of 2001, except for the Poe track, but I'm not going to be nitpicky about that one. It's a little difficult at times; it can be very sad. It was that kind of year.Feedback:

that's a pretty nice mix..."slip away" is my laurie fave from the album too. but would you really have picked "trouble" from kristin's?
