Comment:
After re-reading the history of Creation records, I was compelled to make this mix, thinking that there once was a time when nu-metal did not exist and the Britons ruled all! Some bands are 'Musically-Indie' though being signed to a major label. Some are 'Technically-Indie' but don't play indie music. Some fall into neither, and are just filler. Whatever the context, this is my personal favourite of my own mixes to date.Feedback:
This is a really cool mix.
lots of great great songs on here. nice!
is there anyway i could get a copy of this? email is thesecretchord@yahoo.com
Very nice! "Primitive Painters", "Soon" and "Headmaster Ritual" are some of my all-time favorites. Many of these bands appeared on my shoegazing mix as well.
This is a classic. MBV, House of Love, JAMC, Wire, OJ Felt, Ride and the kings of all things indie, The Fall. What can I say? 'Midges hovered over the heather'
