another christmas present, for my (15yr.old) brother chris. i've been carefully cultivating his musical tastes for a couple years now, using my influence solely for good, not evil. it's been tough, but with judicious application of the poppier side of indie rock (like jew, and damn if i don't love that song even if the rest of the album is nauseatingly awful) i think i've got him convinced that pavement is better than nirvana - and that's all i can ask. plus he loves the dismemberment plan. mostly your standard indie pop lineup on here, but i squeeze in some (relatively) more leftfield stuff like the lilys...i think he'll dig it.
