For our money, few among the best Oz rock outfits could hold a candle to Hunters & Collectors in their prime, live onstage. Formed in Melbourne back in '81, with a nod to Krautrock (they named themselves after a track by Can, and would be produced by Krautrock maestro Conny Plank), the band created funky order from chaos.
