this is digital (101010). an xmas gift for my mom, whose cosistent playing of beatle records while i was in my crib lead to a life long music addiction. unfortunately, my tastes were sophisticated from the get-go, leading to a reputation for pretentiousness in my tastes. also, this is a desparate attempt to get her to like belle and sebastian. happy holidays all!

Cool mix. And you were lucky, Brandt... my mom's primary listening when I was growing up was pap like Barbra Streisand, disco-era Bee Gees, Rita Coolidge, and 70's Dionne Warwick. *spits* Merry Christmas, my friend.

What a nice mix Brandt. I've often made mix tapes for my mom for Christmas as well. She's also a big fan of Cat Stevens, Dylan, Leonard Cohen and the Beatles. Hold on a sec! Is it possible? Could you be my long lost brother!?!? *imagining tearful reunion followed quickly by sibling squabbling* Perhaps it's better if we never know. Anyway, I've also turned her on to B&S's "Seeing Other People," and I'm sure she'd like your choices as well. Oh, and Merry Christmas to you bro!
