Listener Status 26: Vocab Series 1Meng: Chinese(MA), "To Dream"
This is the first of a series of cds I am gonna do based on Chinese vocabulary terms which I like. "Meng" is not exactly ambient or "dreamy"as much as it is tweaky, like dreams sometimes are. Each track should be heard like a different, strange dream that one has, in which you encoutner things that are familiar, but not quite right.

Props on the Severed Heads. They are a very overlooked group!! My favorites are City Slab Horror and Dead Eyes Open. Good stuff. Unfortunately, I know little of these guys beyond SH and Autechre...
Yeah, Severed Heads are totally one of my all time favorites, the really did som much that was really ahead of their time. I think that if you like autechre and SH, then you would probably enjoy the rest of this mix as well.
I had this dream one night in which I was the sole male in a mansion with rooms too numerous to count; and in every room, a sex-starved babe. The only problem was........................................................................I woke up. : (
