Comment:
I took the title of this mix from the Pink Floyd's "Have a Cigar" from the Wish You Were Here Album. This mix is best for someone new to the classic rock era, and it maybe a little bit too familiar for the old timers. I, myself, am a 16 year old who is simply rebelling against pop music. I spent many hours compiling this piece to fit the theme of beauty and truth. This is a mixture of not only truthful beauty, but of freedom expressed through sometimes genius lyrics and vintage, acoustic guitars. Shine on you crazy diamond.Feedback:
Very classic rock for a 16-year-old!! Don't fear pop!! Pop like all things can be good and bad. In fact, I see some Beatles (good pop) right here. It is a huge misconception that pop means POPULAR. It is a style of music, not a chart rating.
Thanks, when I say pop I realize the meaning of the genre. What I should have said was the pop music of today. I appreciate your comment.
I just re-read my posting and it sounds preachy and know-it-all-ish. Sorry about that. Great mix!!
I'm amused by the attempt to disguise yerself, there...
