Comment:
Part Three in the series - Often overlooked, Long and Staten Islands and North Jersey have yielded some of the freshest sounds in NY hip-hop. The microphone master Rakim, representin' the Strong I., as do other innovators De La Soul, EPMD, and the forgotten UMCs and Leaders of the New School. The Wu single-handedly put Shaolin on the map. And two of the most succesful groups of all time, the Fugees and Naughty by Nature, both hail from North Jersey. Don't sleep.Feedback:
The EPMD and De La choices would not be my first BUT the Wu and Fugees tracks more than make up for that. Besedes that, the series looks tight.
I love the Roxanne's Revenge.
crucial/classic. this series rules!
