Comment:

Not really their greatest hits, but rather an encapsulation of everything I've always loved about Roland Orzabal and Tears for Fears, the sprawling structures, the layered, cavernous sounds of a guy spelunking through his psyche.

This is a nice mix. Personally, I think TFF was better when Curt Smith was still in the band and I think both are worse-off for the breakup. He provided a sense of vocal balance that is now lost. Just my opinion. Oleta Adams has a beautiful voice, and that's a great song. Hats off for a cool job with the mix.

The two albums, Elemental and Raoul And The Kings Of Spain, are probably the most self-indulgent TFF albums I have ever heard. I do agree that Curt Smith did provide a balance that made them wonderful. He didn't do much other than that, but they were still great. Try looking for the single, "The Way You Are."
