Born as the Innocent Criminals while barely in their teens, Oz post-grunge trio Silverchair renamed themselves in ’94 after a couple of singles: Nirvana’s “Sliver” (misspelled) and You Am I’s “Berlin Chair.” Their rise since “Tomorrow” has been truly meteoric, from the guts and thunder of [i]Frogstomp[/i] to 2002’s monumental [i]Diorama[/i].
