Comment:
Christmas and New Year, without being overtly seasonal overall. Still, lots of tunes evocative of Christmas past for me, and of course the Cocteau Twins (surely the ultimate Christmas band?) and Sigur Ros (can any of you US mixers tell me if those guys are as big in the States as I've been told?)Feedback:
hmm- sigur ros, big? perhaps not quite yet. but they've definitely reached the point where if you're talking to someone who listens to music off the beaten path, they've probably heard of them and maybe even heard them, too. (nice cut, by the way- that's one of my favorites of that album.)
Lovely mix. Sigur Ros in Australia - while they are not huge here, there was a pretty big article about them a few months back in Who Magazine (cousin of US's People). They also got voted album of the year by many journalists here too.
